Breast pain

edited March 2016 in Not Diagnosed With a Recurrence or Metastases but Concerned

I had a bilateral mastectomy 4 yrs ago with immediate reconstruction(silicone implants); I had Stage I IDC right breast with no node involvement. Recently I am having sharp, stabbing, burning pain to right breast above incisional scar. Anyone else have this?

    lalizt, It is good to see you on the boards. If you don't get a timely response here you may also want to explore the topics in the Reconstruction forum as others there have experience with implants and may have some thoughts. the Mods

    I think sometimes as the nerves start to regenerate we get those "zingers". Always a good idea to get them checked out if it is something new.
