dcis recurrence rate

what are the raw objective numbers? with a lump + rad, what is the 10 year recurrence rate? what about with a mastectomy?

i keep getting different numbers from various sources AND doctors. some say the difference is small, others say its closer to 15% difference in outcomes. what is the real number?

    I think it has a lot to do with your stats. I would think a large or multifocal area of high grade might be more likely to recur than a small area of grade one, but don't know numbers. There is not a huge difference in recurrence rate between the two options. There are plenty of women here with recurrence after mastectomy
