Pain at suture site after te

hi everyone. I'm a survivor now 5 years. I had inflammatory breast cancer,& was given the total treatment. Chemo, surgery, rads. I waited for reconstruction to avoid infection. When I finally went for reconstruction I took the slow route using external skin expanders & my own fat. After 2 years I was healed enough to go for small a-b gel implants.

But the radiated side kept shrinking even as my skin kept healing.

Recently the implants were removed & te were inserted. All was going smoothly until I recently developed pain to the touch on my original suture sight. We decreased the size of the expansion. There's a spot still painful to the touch. Not to poke it but to run your finger across it. And there is the slightest bruise & swelling in that spot. Like a bubble.

Should I be concerned? Will this lead to trouble or do you think it will eventually get better in the way a bruise gets better over time. I have no fever & the area is not warm. Could this just be a case of thin skin being overstretched?

I'm nervous & my google searching is getting me nowhere.

Thanks for your advice!

Kimmy
