Biopsy to Surgery - What's happening?

I am two weeks past biopsies on both breasts. Surgery is in 3 days. My breasts hurt worse now than they did a week ago. I can definitely feel lumps now and under my arms is starting to hurt. I have been wearing sports bras. Is this normal? Of course I am concerned the cancer is growing. Initial diagnosis was for a 7mm area. It would help to know what others have experienced. Thanks!
