STOPPING MEDS

2013: biopsy in right breast was pappiloma. the lumpectomy biopsy was ADH. I Took aromasin(exemestane) for 18 mos. I had to stop because of memory issues, couldn't concentrate etc. all the other side effects I got thru and they passed(numbness, joint pain) on tamoxifen for 6weeks and omg I now have leg and foot cramps non stop. I stopped the med and will speak with oncologist next week. my question is: has anyone stopped the med and had an ADH recurrence or developed BC. Or has anyone stayed on the meds and had an ADH recurrence or developed BC

    I have the same question and the same worrisome dx. I am taking Evista though and having pretty much no discernible side effect

    Thank you so much for replying. Evista wasn't offered. I'm 57. haven't had any cramping since stopping tamoxifen I'm not sure we'll get an answer to recurrence of adh or develop BC while on meds in his section. probably have to post the question in the already diagnosed section.

    how long have you been on Evista?
