Kicks

Does anyone else tat? I have several patterns but none are quite what I want now with 'fancier' corners for Hanky's. Help please - I know, unfortunately, today few tat but I do and have for close to 65 years. (Not this 'wanna be' so called needle tatting).

I wish I did, but alas I do not. I crochet, cross-stich, quilt, do Zentangle, but have only been able to admire beautiful tatting and the women who do it.

Hope you get someone else to "talk tatting" with!

Kicks, ask on our "Stiching the Pieces Together thread. Maybe Chrissy does. Lots of us who sew do more than one kind of needlework or sewing.

I learned from a great-aunt years ago but have lost the skill, unfortunately. Oddly enough, my sister and I were just talking about it earlier this week.

Kicks, I have tatted but haven't for years. My grandmother was a great tatter and I have a few hankies that she did with borders. I do not have any of her patterns, if she had any. Have you tried searching for patterns online--I searched a few years ago for heirloom crocheted bedspread patterns and found quite a few online.
