Hand numbness with axillary lymphodema?

3 weeks ago my right side breast area started itching. That night I woke up several times because my right arm hurt. The next morning ther was more swelling and numbness in the arm pit and my thumb and fingers were numb. It's been 3 weeks and they are still numb. The first doctor did not think the numbness was connected to the swelling... Has anyone else had this happen?

It is possible that it is connected to the swelling,,,, if it swells enough to put pressure on the nerves running down to your hand, and then that causing the numbness and tingling.

Is it all your fingers,,, or thumb and the 2 fingers closest to it? Carpal tunnel is a possibility too. Any neck issues? Herniated disc in neck? There are so many things that could put pressure on the nerve that causes your symptoms. ( I know, cuz I have multiple issues, and they can't decide what is causing my numbness or tingling. One doctor says this, other doctor says that.)

Have you been evaluated by an LE certified PT? I would suggest doing that.
