lung mets?

Options

I have a breast cancer recurrence and had my pre-surgery tests yesterday - blood work and chest x-ray. Was out in the evening and came home to a message from my doctor's nurse practitioner saying she needs to speak with me about my chest x-ray. I am worried this means my cancer has spread. Any other thoughts about what could be wrong? Wish I was here when the call came in. I have trouble reaching the office during the day so I hope I can get to speak with her earlier rather than later because I am concerned that it is mets. Are there any other possibilties?

JoniB - so sorry for your recent re-dx, and now scary scans. Me too. My recent staging CT picked up a nodule in my right lung and a lesion in my left that could be an infection but could not be ruled out as mets without further testing. My MO doesn't seem concerned, though, and said we can check them again in a couple months. I also have radiation fibrosis from previous rads, so there's always that too.

I'm hoping for good results for you.
