Getting ready for lumpectomy

Tomorrow I will be having radioactive seeds implanted in preparation for my lumpectomy. I am ready for the surgery....just want to get this crap out of me. But also dreading the pathology. I am just finally settling down somewhat from the initial diagnosis after my biopsy. Still have a hard time being positive but was getting there. Now I feel like I am starting over again.......

    Just hang in there ... once the surgery is over you will feel SO much better (mentally, anyway).

    thanks. I had radioactive seed put in today. No big deal. Hope the lumpectomy goes well too. And then there is the waitin for pathology.

    Lumpectomy done yesterday. Now the wait for pathology. I really did feel better yesterday but starting to get nervous again. As far as the surgery went....piece of cake. Really love the "Michael Jackson" anesthesia. No pain meds needed at all so far. It does feel sore but my migraines are worse than that! I get to take the bandage off today but still haven't done so. I can't wait to shower!!!!
