side effects/allergic reactions

I'm just beginning this journey. I was diagnosed on 1/26 or 28 (it's a blur). They have mentioned chemo before surgery. I am literally terrified of the chemo. I have a long history

of allergic reactions to medicines and foods. How do I deal with the anxiety of the possibility of a severe allergic reaction? I mean that would just really suck to die from that. :)

Talk to your oncologist about it. They can do things like push the drug slowly, or give you pre-meds. The infusion nurses know what to do if a reaction occurs. Tell them you are concerned.

    Hello,

    I am Stage3A diagnosed October.

Oncologist said 4 AC treatments and 4 Taxol, i have completed 4 AC and 2 taxol.

For 3rd taxol within 5min i had allergic reaction breath shortening, immediately they stopped medicine and gave supplement oxygen and checked vitals.

After 15 min i was back to normal.

Just want to check if any one had any allergic reactions for 3 taxol?

I appreciate your feed back and answers.
