Hello new friends,

I found out last week that I have breast cancer. Infiltrating ductal carcinoma. They are still confirming the stage, but tentatively it's Stage IIA . It's hormone sensitive - estrogen positive. My doctor has mentioned chemo and anti-hormone therapy as likely treatments post-surgery. I'm devastated. I'm 29, turning 30 at the end of march, and have never been pregnant. I hope to have children someday and I am incredibly concerned about the impact of chemo and anti-hormone therapy on my chances of having children. I'm so scared and sad. Are there any helpful resources that describe the options available for young women battling through this? Any advice? Are there any survivors on here who were able to have children post-breast cancer treatment?

Thank you for your help.
