"Mountain Top" Experience?!?

I'm beginning to view my cancer diagnosis as a very real "mountain top" experience, any other takers?  Could it end up being a gift? 

 I'm  no longer afraid, of anything. After grasping my own mortality, or even just the idea that I may not live to be an "old" lady, I feel empowered!  Every day is sweet, things that should stress me or make me angry now seem almost comical. No, I'm not on drugs.

 I feel that God has gifted me with a mountain top view or perspective on life.  It's fleeting, it's temporary and very few things really matter. Love for our Creator, expressed through the way we treat our fellow man... Is. All. That. Matters. I'm going to live, for now, but I'm no longer scared of life or death!!  I sure hope this perspective lasts the rest of my lifetime, no matter how long or how short. I pray someone else can feel this way and I truly understand it's easier to feel this depending on your prognosis.

Thanks GiGi! I'm trying to get where you are on a consistent basis! Some days I'm stronger than others and pray that God keeps me on the path to healing. I do feel I have a new mission to serve and help other women with this disease.

I can see God's intervention during this process, getting me in touch with the right care team...carrying me thru the side effects ... I am blessed to be here!
