February 14th is Valentine's Day, so we thought we'd take a moment to acknowledge how our Community defines love. Whether you're in a relationship or not, love can mean many different things to you. Maybe love to you is the unconditional affection from a pet. Maybe your grandchild's smile is your definition of love. Perhaps a friend's offer to help drive you to treatment is what love means to you. Or, taking a moment to meditate, exercise, read a book, or enjoy a favorite meal you've made yourself is how you take time to love yourself.

So, we want to know – how do you define love?

    It is Valentines day ......Love to me is my husband cleaning up the mess I made this morning when I threw up my morning arimidex pill for breast cancer. Love to me is my husband making sure I made it back to bed safely this afternoon as I am sick as hell from the chemo last week for Stage 4 lymphoma. This man has stood by me for over 25 years . I hope I still have a few good years left

    Love is my 14 year old son cleaning the car after I vomit and insisting I go rest in bed.

    Love are my neighbors checking on me, providing rides and encouragement.

    Love is my 19 year olds smile when I visit her college campus.

    Love is my husband who at times does everything at home because I am too tired.

    Love is not just the tasks but the grace they show in doing them.

    Love is my 26 year old son who hugs me when I come home from work and before I go to bed and tells me I'm going to be alright.
