2 more stereotactic biopsies... ugh

Hi ladies,

So I was diagnosed a week ago, grade 3 with necrosis. Dr wanted an MR I and I set up the lumpectomy. Talked about radiation, tamoxifen and then I went shopping. Figured the MRI ( done on Thursday last week) would come back clear.

Nope. They see 3 more spots that look exactly like the dcis they diagnosed so they need to do 2 more biopsies. I hate that biopsy! My hematoma is still large and painful from the one I had last month. But I'm going today at 2:30 to do it again in 2 different spots. This time I am taking an Ativan before I do it. Don't think I'll get through it without some "enhancement".

Anybody else have multiple biopsies done after initial diagnosis? There is still a good chance these "new" spots could be benign- yes?

I had multiple biopsies based on the contralateral MRI. They might be benign (mine were not).
