Recurrence on Tamoxifen?

Just curious here ladies....
I'm almost done with rads and will be moving on to Tamoxifen. I'm 41 and my medical oncologist has suggested staying on it for possibly 10 years. (Although he said that we will discuss that further at my appointment with him after rads.)
I'm curious to see if anyone has had a recurrence while on Tamoxifen. If so, how long were you on it before the recurrence?
I guess I'm just getting nervous as I'm nearing the end of active treatment.

Not me personally but unfortunately many women have recurrences while on Tamoxifen. Ive read that there could be a genetic reason why it doesn't work for some women. I don't know the exact number but I will look for studies because its a really good question....
