May I join your club? Will you hold my hand through the next few weeks?

I just picked up a copy of my stereotactic biopsy pathology report. I see the surgeon on Wednesday and I assume we'll schedule the excisional biopsy at that time.

Does anyone know what this means?...

    What I should ask is - has anyone had that result on their path rpt and understands the meaning? I guess I'll find out soon enough but I want to be informed beforehand.

    Just wanted to welcome you to the club that no one wants to join! I don’t know much about the CK5/6 - from what I can tell it has to do with the immunochemical staining they use to determine whether the cells are DCIS, ADH or just normal growth, but that’s about the extent of it. Nothing like that was mentioned on my path report. Hope you get the answers you need and do not hesitate to come here with any questions - there are plenty of people here who are happy to help if they can.
