Chemo just around the corner and I want to keep my hair!

Hey everyone, I was diagnosed with BC in November and had a unilateral mastectomy in December. I'm going for my first chemo treatment in a few weeks and I'm planning on using the Penguin Cold caps. Would love to know about what to expect and how I should be preparing myself. Any information you all can share would be great! Thank you!

hello Lisa_lisMich, how did it went?? I guess you already had it? I have also had chemo and I have lost my hair. the reason why i am here is that it grows back but it is not the same as it used to be in the past. I am still searching for information but i just got interested in how youa re going. i have found a person who can describe what i am going through. meanwhile i search for info, could you tell me how it went? thanks!
