Had my MRI guided biopsy today

I had my MRI biopsy today. This was done because of increased enhancement on my yearly MRI in December and then an Ultrasound guided core biopsy earlier in January was labeled discordant (original radiologist was not sure the biopsy was done on the suspicious spot). This biopsy went much better. First, I was happy to see that a radiologist from the group that I really like and trust was doing the biopsy this time around. Everyone - doctor, nurses, assistants - were very gentle, kind, and reassuring. It also didn't hurt that I asked my oncologist for a prescription for XANAX -something I had never taken before. It really helped me get through my second biopsy in three weeks. I will get the results on Thursday or Friday. All in all, a much better experience then the biopsy on January 7. The radiologist said she took lots of samples and is confident she got the spot that was enhanced on the MRI.
