I am facing MRI results this afternoon for new lumps my Onc found Dec 29. I am under VA health care and Bethesda required an ultrasound first. Dear Leslie: Good luck with your PET scan results and with your hip replacement. It never ends, does it??? I have gained so much weight too. I thought the same thing that you did regarding fat cells in my stomach. LOL. I used to be thin and in shape. Now, I have gained so much weight in my stomach due to the forced menopause. I had my ovaries suppressed and then I had them removed so that I could take Aromatase Inhibitors. I was diagnosed pre-menopausal and pre-perimenopausal. I hope that you can get a stonger med./AI if warranted. Good luck. Did you have/are you planning to have chemo? I am lucky that I did not need chemo. ILC does not respond as well to ILC as with other forms of BC.
