BC and diabetes

my mother diagnosed with BC 4 months ago. 2 cm tumor, no lymph node involved but lymphovadcular invasion was present. Her cancer is tripple positive. She is diabetes as well. I'm really worried as I read a lot in internet regarding prognosis for diabetic person which is much poorer. Is there any one there with the same situation?
