I'm getting towards the end of chemo (3 weeks to go) and am currently also on zoladex to protect my ovaries going into permanent menopause after chemo. I'm finding that intercouse is extremely painful. I have tried Replens and syllks which helped slightly, but not much. Worse thing is I am 90% estrogen positive, so can't do the creams. My oncologist is thinking I will go on tamoxifen straight after chemo, which I hear also causes dryness and discomfort down there Will I ever be able to have a normal sexlife with my husband again? Im 34 going on 104 😀

Lottemarine, in my experience, sex was comfortable on tamoxifen as long as we always used plenty of lubricant. On Taxol it was more difficult, and my onc explained that chemo dries your skin everywhere. So hopefully things will improve for you.

Like everyone else has stated, Chemo can really do a number on the lady parts. Give your mucous membranes time to heal after Chemo is done and be sure to use lots of lube and go slow.
