Hello community,

I'm one week out from my DIEP Flap reconstruction. I know that I had a very hard time deciding what kind of reconstruction to get so I wrote a blog post about my experience so far. I'm sharing it here in hopes that it helps some of you who are deciding. If you have any questions or want to leave comments, I'd appreciate it if you'd leave it on my blog since I don't check here very often.

    Thank you so much for sharing your surgery story! You are an inspiration to be so brave to share. You made me cry when I read how you felt right before going into surgery.

    I'm meeting with my first plastic surgeon tomorrow and have 2 others scheduled. I already had radiation so looks like DIEP might be my only option. Thanks again!!
