Switch from Armidex/Lupron to Tamoxifen (Premenopausal)

Options

I am a "Newbie" to forums...this is my very first post ever!  I was diagnosed with stage III ER positive BC with node involvement when I was 36.  I am now 43.  I also have lymphedema.

Part of my treatment involved being on an Arimidex/Lupron injection combo for just over 5 years.  The decision was made to switch to Tamoxifen for possibly another 5 years.  The switch took place in 2014.  They told me that due to my age they weren't sure if I would start menstruating again or not.  I went from being in full blown menopause to last month having my first period in 7 years (SURPRISE!).  I had no spotting in the months prior...just "WHAMO!".  This was not merely spotting...it was a 5 day period.  There has also been a thickening of the uterine lining and cyst formation (never had a cyst before).  I am aware that these can be side effects of T.  They did a biopsy in September and blood work which came back normal.  Today I had another biopsy.  I am usually a very positive person, however, I am struggling to understand how the focus has been on trying to deplete sources of estrogen to now estrogen is ok.  I am also feeling like I am losing my "team".  My oncologist left my area, the gynaecologist retired, and my family doctor also recently left his practice.  I have new ones but I feel like I am falling between the cracks.

I would love to hear from anyone who may have had a similar experience.
