I'm not even sure where I should be posting this but I ended up here. :) I'm 36 now, originally diagnosed with breast cancer at 29. Thankful for all these years in between, felt like a normal human again for quite a while there. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer and on chemo now, must keep on fighting to survive!!

It isn't always easy, especially the psychological aspects of wanting to know why. I am BRCA negative, no family history. Over the years I have pondered so many causes, and perhaps it's genetic. But I have been really stuck lately with the idea that my cancers were caused by the soy formula I was on as a baby. Does anyone else hold weight to this? There are a few studies here and there but seems like more studies need to take place.

Curious about everyone's thoughts on this. It seems at such an integral time in a baby's development those phytoestrogens affect the endocrinal / hormonal systems. It's my current theory 😀 I've had breast and ovarian cancer, endometriosis (prior), and a huge thyroid nodule, and I definitely feel more feminine than I look (soy formula causes masculization of females!). It just seems so bizarre that anyone would give this to their babies even with the current evidence that's out.
