Lack of projection with anatomical implants?

Hi! I've got expanders in at present. I'll be having anatomical implants. I'm wondering if they would give you the projection of a natural breast or for the contrary you find they are a bit flat (not enough projection) in its centre? I don't know if you can understand me. Thanks. Here there is an explanation about projection: http://www.drsteely.com/files/2013/08/silicone_diagram_2.jpg

    Hi Rosa_Aurora,

My PS initially recommended anatomical implants but after doing a lot of reading and researching I told him that I want round ultra high profile because they have more projection. He agreed that was correct - although he said they don't look as natural. I don't care because I really don't want flat breasts, so I'm going for the round ones. Also, it doesn't matter with round ones if they rotate as they are the same the whole way around. If the anatomical ones rotate you have to have an operate to rotate them back (if you can't manage to do it yourself!)

    Best,

    SarahSs,

Did you end up getting the round implants?

I have had anatomical ones but need to have them swapped to over the muscle due to animation deformity. The current ones i have are great projection-wise but are no longer available and all the other anatomicals are not as projected. I am thinking of having round implants too as i dont want to be flatter and would like a bit more fullness on top.

I'd be interested to hear how you went?

Rosa Aurora - yes, I agree with your queries re the anatomicals and projection. What did you end up doing?

There are now high fill ratio round implants that i think would achieve a more projected breast.
