rads 3week or six

hi everyone. I met with oncologist and radiologist this week. STILL waiting for oncotype. Wondering how everyone has done with three weeks rads or six week. Thinking six as the tumor WAS on my left side. I didn't realize they shoot the beam under your tumor through part of your lung. I guess it's to stop spread it that area. I would appreciate any information.
