Getting started this Monday

So....I have an appointment fir a mediport on Monday. How sore will it be? Will I be able to work the next day? Also..how soon after first chemo treatment does hair start falling out?

    I wasn't very sore after getting the port in. I was put under for surgery and it just took a few days to get my energy back.

    My hair started shedding (like postpartum shedding) 2 weeks after my first infusion. The next day (day 15) I was pulling out tons and DH buzzed it with the #2 clippers.
