Has anyone taken Teracumin, Beta1-3 gulcan or essiac tea? I'm wanting to fight this on ALL levels. these have been suggested and I am wondering if any of you have any thoughts.

Check with your doctors before you take anything.  My doctors told me to stop all vitamins and herbal supplements until after my tx was completed.  Ask your doctor what is good for you to take because some herbal supplements may mimic estrogen.  Good luck.

    Hey Brimton,

For the first year after my dx I took all three. I had a friend that was brewing the essiac tea from the original recipe??and I would pick it up every other week. I was also using a 'tea' from a Chinese Herbalist (George W Wong) that was superior to tamox, according to him??? It tasted just like the essiac tea, I have no clue what the concoction was made from but it was to balance my hormones @ 300$ for a 20 day supply. I did the glucan for immune health but the one I used was pricey @ 56$/month. I never tried the teracumin but use curcumin w black pepper(peperine) and olive oil to make it more bioavailable. the teracumin is a bioavailable curcumin. I think its a great start to better health.

Drs usually don't know much about most supplements but like 614 said run it by your dr. and research each supp you decide to take.

I've heard the beta 1-3D glucan is the most effective mushroom based supp. I used the Beta-1,3D Glucan by Q Transfer??

    Good Luck, Maureen
