Yes. Whatever exercise you can do may help--even walking around the block.

I had this - I think it peaked about 3-4 weeks after last chemo (I had 6) and then got better and was gone completely after another month or two. It wasn't a constant pain - it was a pain with exercise, even walking. I could only walk a quarter or half block without stopping to let the pain ebb away. I think it's a effect of Taxotere that most people don't get - sorry you have! Hang in there, it will get better and probably go away entirely.

    Hi:

I finished chemo (taxotere, carboplatin) November 24, 2015. I had muscle pain mainly in my legs and some in my arms. Exactly as you described it. I felt like I had done a super hard workout all the time. Squatting was really hard and I had no stamina for the walks I had been doing for the first 5 of my 6 cycles of chemo. I thought it was never going to go away. It finally started to get better mid-January and now my muscles feel normal (even though I just had my second mastectomy 3 weeks ago). I am able to walk 2 miles now and am looking forward to getting back in hiking shape. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Often this is caused by low hemoglobin, a side effect of chemo. If your hemoglobin is low yourmuscles are not being properly oxygenated and so they fatigue rapidly and hurt. As your hemoglobin normalizes the muscles should improve.
