My wife developed Lymphedema years ago in her left arm after breast surgery and lymph node removal. She was doing quite well for a number of years until she used the No! No! Hair removal device. She had no problem with the device on her good arm, but when she used it on her bad arm with lymphedema and felt a burning sensation so she stop. The next day she woke up with her bad arm very much swollen. She immediately sought medical treatment and her doctor said that the device generates heat which made her lymphedema worse.

Has anyone else had issues with their Lymphedema after using the No! No! Hair device? Did you report the problem to the manufacturer of the device Radiancy or the FDA?

I have never used this device. I have mild LE, which is easily managed, for the most part. When I have an occasional flare, I can sometimes point the finger at something that I think precipitated it, but not always. I do, however, avoid certain risk prone activities (hot tubs, sauna, sun exposure etc.). If the device produces heat, it is possible that it aggravated the LE. You can report your wife's experience to appropriate agencies, but not sure what outcome you're looking for
