Surgery soon after chemo?

I finished dose-dense AC-T four and a half weeks ago. I'm still very tired and have little energy to do much. That said, I try to do a little bit of something each day, whether going for a walk, or picking up groceries. I'm not thrilled with my progress, but given what chemo does to our bodies, I've been okay with everything. Until today. It seems I have a new primary cancer in my lung and they want to do a lung resection to remove the nodule. Depending on the pathology, this may be followed by another surgery (remove the entire lobe). Chemo will follow that. I'm just concerned about handling the surgery, which they want to do in two weeks. The surgeon does not want to delay as right now I have a fighting chance and delays can change that. I'll only be six to seven weeks post final chemo. Is that long enough? Anyone else have invasive surgery so soon after chemo?

My UMX was 2 weeks after my last of 4 DD A/C neoadjuvant. My adjuvant 12 weekly Taxol started 3 weeks post UMX. Started rads a week after last Taxol. I didn't have any other issues going on though.

Have you asked about doing neoadjuvant Chemo for the lung issue?
