Abnormal MRI... Waiting...

Just need to unload, and maybe hear some similar situations...

I just turned 40. I had my first biopsy at 32, a leaking duct. Benign, but got me on 1 year mammograms. Nothing again until 38. Since 38, three more biopsies - fibroademas found on mammogram and added MRIs to the 6month mark (mammogram/MRI alternating schedule, one every 6 months). My first MRI was last December. Clear. May was another false positive mammogram that lead to the fourth biopsy...

Fast forward to today. Last Sunday (my 40th) I had a screening MRI with contrast. On Wednesday, docs office called and said I needed to schedule a follow-up ultrasound due to a new spot found. If ultrasound "normal" than must do an MRI guided biopsy. If not normal... Decisions from there. Sounds to me that I have a fifth biopsy in my near future either way.

I hate this process! Ultrasound is scheduled 12/23. Won't probably hear on that for a week. Then two-three weeks before whatever is next. At this point, it feels like a foregone conclusion. 5 biopsies... Even if it is another false positive, the 6 weeks of not knowing may kill me.

I feel your pain on the waiting and you are so young! Prayers for you and I'll be hoping for the Best butyeah sounds like another biopsy. This is all so bad .
