Fat Lobules!!!!!

Praise God that after 2 months of worrying it turns out the lump on my left breast was just a fat lobule! I had symptoms of soreness and tenderness in left breast and under my left arm, swollen lymph node for about 2 days that disappeared before I took meds, did a 7 day dose of 2000mg of Dicloxacillin, US and mammo. Whew! After the US I was put on Dicloxacillin since it could've been an infection but the symptoms didn't go away after my meds were done so DR sent an order for a mammo and they assured me they only see the fat lobules and there's nothing to worry about. I feel much better but the only thing is I still wonder about the pain and fullness of the left breast I've had for 2 months now. Part of me seems to think that if you're in pain or uncomfortable that there's something wrong.

Anyone else in this boat with problem fat lobules??? Just want to make sure the Radiologist and staff isn't putting me off because of my young age and no BC history.

So happy to hear this, savior! Please have faith in your doctors and enjoy your bill of good health! Of course, stay vigilant and report any changes or ongoing pain to your doctors.

If you're really still concerned, getting a second opinion may give you peace of mind.

Congrats on the good news, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help!
