I have completed my first round of 4 treatements once every two weeks of ACT. The tumor is 1.5. I have been off chemo for two weeks and starting Taxol tomorrow for 12 weeks. I'm being told it's a flip how to do the treatment as far as surgery. I was advised to do chemo first. My apprehension is that the tumor did not shrink but two of the lymph nodes are smaller. I'm in a panic thinking just do the masectomy now but being told no finish the chemo to be sure. The cancer could be gone just the tumor didn't shrink. Help what have others done. I just need to put my mind at ease.
