Thank you Community!

Thanksgiving in the United States is a holiday we love, when we show our gratitude for the people who inspire us, help us, and make a difference in our lives.

This Thanksgiving, on behalf of Breastcancer.org's team of Discussion Board moderators, I want to thank you — all of our incredible community members! Although this is not a community anybody ever wants to join, and we wish didn't need to exist, we are grateful to be part of it and to have met all of you.

As moderators, we find ourselves journeying into new territory, working together to help others reach the best medical and life decisions possible, while fostering valuable friendships and connections along the way. The role of community moderators has its challenges, for sure. It is an ever-evolving role as listener, connection-maker, problem-solver, and rule-enforcer. Working in this community pushes us, stretches us, and tests us, not only as moderators, but also as people.

You have risked and trusted our community with raw emotions. You have exemplified compassion, joy, sorrow, strength, wisdom, selflessness, and kindness. You have battled, celebrated, grieved, and loved. You have given these gifts, and thus made a difference in our lives.

We admire and learn from you everyday, and for this we are exceedingly grateful! Thank you, truly, for being a part of our incredible, supportive community.
