Gemcitabine /Carboplatine

My MO starts me tomorrow on this chemo. Has anyone experience with it? What is usual for TN IBC? I've checked online and the carbo thing is recommended for lung cancer. The previous two times I had FAC (I used to call it smt else with a "U") and Taxoterre. (I think).

    Hey there. I just started this combo last week. 2nd infusion was yesterday. My schedule is 2wks on & one eek off....so far tolerable. .had two really tired & poor appetite days. But be to work days. Insomnia sucked.

    Hey Desi, just saw your message. I thought I was the only one with this cocktail. How are you doing? I just had the 2nd dosis of the third chemo. Yep, the insomnia sucks, Lots of energy the first day and then you can't wake up.
