Summary: Fictional Character referred to as "he", but not a man person, not a male animal, in films, but not cartoon character, did not originate in films, also did not originate in books. This origin has me stumped. Must have originated in radio or television or newspapers. Probably not comic books, as he is not cartoon. Thinking out loud here - -
