ABOUT THE LECTURER: Henry Thompson is a Professor at Colorado State University and Director of the University's Cancer Prevention Laboratory. He also is a Professor of the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado.

LECTURE OBJECTIVES: To explore the concept of energy hormesis and health with a specific focus on breast cancer; to evaluate the impact of inherent versus induced aerobic capacity on cancer risk, and energy stress pharmacology; and to assess energy restriction feasibility, energy restriction mechanisms, energy availability and stress in regards to cancer risk.

SPONSOR: National Cancer Institute

    Thanks for the link, I watched it. I found it to be very interesting. Nearly all of the research done was in rats, but the results were pretty impressive. (I may be a little bit biased as this speaker is from my alma matar... )
