AZ, thank you for asking. So far we have accumulated about 4-5 inches of snow since 1:30 this afternoon. It's a fine snow. Wind is blowing so there will probably be some drifts, particularly out in the suburbs. I live in the city and my block is pretty sheltered.

Taken just now through the storm door. It will be interesting what tomorrow brings. People around here panic and our NBC weather people don't help the situation. They started storm coverage around 3:00.

I agree, SAS - we're in the presence of some real movie trivia geniuses. I'm not contributing much, but am sure enjoying it - and finding more movies to watch, just based on some of these photos. We were slammed overnight. DH has shoveled once already. Over 12 inches on our block, but it is somewhat protected from the wind. One of the major roadways in the city already had 18 inches at 8:30. Luckily, it's a dry snow. Supplies are in, we have gas heat and if the power goes out can still cook on the stove top. Here's the latest photo
