.......................A Christmas Hug Blondie. L&H&P's sassy

I found these screaming slingshot monkeys for my grown kids' stockings. The dog went crazy when we tested one. She stole it right out of the bag and every time she moves it just so it screams.
I hope this finds you warm and cozy. The wind is sweeping down the plains here in Oklahoma today.

Great to see you posting Blondie!!
The trees are so pretty. We seem to be on a monkey theme. Here is my contribution.

Sleep well beautiful lady!!

Hey Blondie, popping in to say hi. Hope you've had someone to talk to today. Your hospice folks don't sound very attentive! Well, we're all hanging in with you, just wish we were closer so we could be there in person. Have a good night, dear one!

Thinking of you, Blondie, I wish I was there to give you a great big old hug. We could sit on your bed, and tell stories well into the night. We could eat what ever we wanted, and desert 3 times a day! We could take the train to Florida, to see your friend there, and set you up in a nice resort hotel, where you could stay as long as you wanted. If you close your eyes, you could think so hard about it, that it would just about be true. And Slow would be there too, and all the women who love and care about you, encircling you with all the love they have to give.... My wish for you. If you close your eyes when you are feeling bad, then it can almost be true, if you remember that we love you.

Hi Blondie,
Just settling down after a busy weekend with my grandson. Sometimes I just have to pray for the energy to keep up with him but this weekend he could sense I was pretty worn out from Christmas and didn't ask a thing of me. He fixed his own food and pretty much entertained himself. He's 11 and perfectly capable but grandma has spoiled him a bit and he has come to expect it when he visits. I'm just thankful he still likes to come to grandma's house. I've had one dose of halaven and tolerated it pretty well. A bit of nausea but nothing the meds couldn't handle. I think of you often and the lung mets thread we used to visit on so much. I hope you have had a peaceful weekend and a bit of company so you aren't so lonely. I've sure enjoyed the monkey pictures that have been posted. Laughing is always good. Of course I like the Florida Santa as well. We've been having Florida weather here in Maryland for the last few weeks. I hope it lasts. I can do without snow a bit longer. Wish I could do more than pop in here for a visit. My thoughts are with you and I hope you can feel the big hugs I'm sending. Love, Glenna
Edited to correct the spelling of my own name ... LOL!
