Would love to visit Florida again soon....in the mean time we can use our imagination.

We can be lazy and just relax.

What a bummer that you are still in rehab, Probably they can help you better there, but there is no place like the comfort of the home. This is the time that I wish we livedclose by so we could take turn taking you to Dairy Queen for a sundae or to Walmart to watch people.

So cute Loverly! We need about 10 or 20 of them for Blondie!

Blondie , there was a pledge song from college. The tune was a campfire song ---sorry forget which one. But I taught it to lots of folks over the years. It's a real stress reliever b/c it has all the negative words in our language.
Shit damn hell, son of a bastard bitch, rape screw fuck you, and you can go to hell too
Sure someone will object. But the point is these are the most hateful words in our language. Getting rid of anger it helps to use these words. Plus, when you just hum it no one knows what you are doing. Unless you tell them
When I worked in the OR in the 70's I taught two people. One was a MASH doc from Vietnam. He had issues. The other was a great nurse and my mentor.. She and I were the only two that could control this doc. I taught him b/c I thought it would be a stress reliever.
One day we were all assigned to the same surgical room. Merideth and I thought it great. He came in and was a total bastard. We got the case going. I turned to do the paper work and automatically started humming. Merideth heard me and started humming louder. I was like "OH Shit" Turned around. We all looked at each other. The surgeon laid his instruments down and said "Am I being that much of an asshole?" Merideth and I said yes in unison. He apologized and was a peach for the rest of the day. It was a moment in time. A shared moment. Unique in time
But the thought of those words works,

Haha, sas, good one!

Thinking of you this Easter morning. May you have abundant peace and good rest.
-
Happy Easter Blondie!

North Dakota is on the North American Flyway, the migration path of many birds (we have lots of open space and potholes for them to land & get some refreshments). This picture was taken a couple days ago not far from where I live. A mile long (over a million) flock of Canadian Geese flying north for the summer.

That's amazing Ruth!
Jazzy that rabbit picture is so funny.
Thinking of you Blondie. I hope you feel everyone's love for you!!

hey Blondie, just got back from a Florida trip with my grandson. Spent time in Jacksonville beach with my brother and his family and then drove to Sarasota for some spring training oriole games. My grandson and I had a blast though I did come back exhausted. Too tired after the games to take him to see a west coast sunset but he was cool with just going to the games. Had a cat yesterday and get results today. Hope I find halaven is kicking some cancer! Hope you had a good Easter.
-
Post holiday funny for Blondie!

Hi Blondie,
Having one of those sleepless nights so I thought I'd drop in and say hi. Just took some oxycodone on top of my ffentanyl patch to try to take the edge off the pain so I can sleep. Hope you are having a restful night. We had tickets to an Orioles game but after looking at the weather forecast I traded them in for a game in July. As it was, they cancelled the game anyway. It was wet and cold and they were actually anticipating snow. Not my idea of ball game weather. I guess there was a nice celebration in Philadelphia to honor the Villanova men's basketball team. How exciting for the city and the school! Anyway, I'm jabbering so will hop off. Just want you to know you are in my thoughts! Prayers for you to be pain free, having some good visits with family and friends, and getting some rest. Love, Glenna
