Support Groups

Question for the mods.

Is it possible to add a page or feature on this site where members can easily search for support groups in their area? Something that would allow a member who facilitates or is aware of a support group could post the info on it. Maybe at the top of the Members List, if there isn't one already? (I'm just realizing I forgot to look in there).

I live in the Charleston, SC area and facilitate the meetings for an extremely small group. It would be nice if there was an easy way for people to find support groups in their area... and/or for patients who travel to other cities... they may have a desire to find one to attend while they are receiving treatment out of their area.

Am I making any sense? I've only had half a cup of coffee this morning and have a sinus headache.

Anyone chime in, please, to give some feedback.

Hi Thepinkbirdie -- great idea!

How about this -- we edited our Member Matchup forum to include a space for finding Local Support Groups, where threads can get started based upon location. Will this work for you?
