Dating soon after a bi-lateral mastectomy

I've been single for over 2 years, mostly for health reasons. Well, I met a very nice man right before my surgery, however he was leaving the State to help a buddy for about a month. Since I had the lymph node surgery a week ago, I pushed out meeting him until next week. He's been back about a week.

He knows my father died this last month, but not about my cancer. I'm not so concerned if no chemo, or chemo that retains hair. My mastectomy looks great, and I don't hop into intimacy as quickly as I once did. But that may not be how it goes. I'll know what the plan is by end of this week.

So, when do I tell him?
