liver mets ????

Well I was having pain in my side thinking it was kidney stones. The pain started Thurs morning so I went to the er they did cat scan and ultrasound said they saw 3 leisions and it turns out there is a shadow on my liver and its pressing into my side causing pain. Ugh. Wtf. Didn't even make it 5 years. They are going to do a biopsy today along with a bone scan. Help!!!!! I didn't think there was pain with liver meets

Ack! Sorry you are dealing with this. Hoping biopsy turns up benign. When were you originally diagnosed and treated ?

Just since Friday. Just today find out 2 spots on lung and one in wtf. I just felt fine. OmG. I am flipping g out

was dx in 2011. Stage 3c. Ugh knew this was gonna happen. Now how do I go on?????

can a liver biopsy turn up benighn? Dr does not seem to think so

Absolutely liver biopsies can be benign. Fatty liver disease, hemangiomas, scarring from chemo treatment, lots of things can cause benign liver findings.

Thanks. But if he see a shadow and its against side casing pain....could still Maybe be nothing?? I feel.fine, no weight loss, no appetite loss. O if it's not I'm gonna, I'm gonna, well it won't be pretty. Ugh I'm going to be very very pissed.

when will you get results? how did they find spots on lungs? I so want to tell you calm down but I know how hard that is when there are unknowns... hoping for you that everything turns out negative ..

found spots for on ct or.MRI. idk.they came at me with drugs and machines. Ugh. Came in for.kidney stones. Can anything be benign??

imaging can turn up a lot of benign findings which is why they usually do not scan without symptoms. Hoping there is a benign reason for your pain. Thinking ofyou. Waiting sucks
