Hi…I am planning for a breast implant surgery as I am being humiliated by my friends..My breasts are also sagging. My neighbor suggested one of the top plastic surgeon in Toronto ,Dr. Asif Pirani, but I am worried about the surgery as I haven't done any in my 30 years of life.I think I really need a surgery. Will implants increase breast cancer risk? Kindly advise.

    ReneS Asked:

Is the risk of breast cancer any different if you have had breast implants? I had my first breast implants 37 years ago and two implant replacements over the last 20 years. I just found a lump under my left arm and a swelling above my left breast. I'm visiting the breast clinic soon. Is there likely to be any problem with treatment because of having implants?

We hope this answers your question.

    Dear Heyesed:

I do not know the answer to your question.  Sorry.  However, my first response to you is that you should not undergo surgery because your friends are humiliating you due to your appearance.  If your friends are commenting on the appearance of your breasts then they may not be positive influences in your life.  You need to choose to undergo surgery because this is something that you want to do for yourself; not to satisfy others.

    I wish you the best.

    Good luck.
