Managing symptoms while waiting for more tests

Until recently I've had very little breast pain but that has begun to change. I now have a constant reminder of my condition and it doesn't help that i haven't yet seen an oncologist. My first appointments are looming (Nov. 4th) but I've been experiencing odd symptoms such as muscle soreness and weaknesses. The beast pain is not unbearable and especially when I'm not moving around too much. Are there any flags that I should be on alert for?

Could the pain be from biopsy? Or was your initial symptom before diagnosis breast pain? I did not have any pain but some women have pain as a symptom. It is not very common to have pain. Here is an active thread by women who have experienced pain.

Could you see your primary care doctor about the pain and other odd symptoms? My primary care doc prescribed me Xanax so I could cope with the waiting for appointments. And you have way more waiting ahead of you.

Hi Inks. The beast pain did start after the biopsy but it doesn't really feel like that's the cause. I will follow up with my primary for more help. I really need a way to cope since putting on a brave face is starting to get old. Thanks s much.

My ultrasound came back Birad 5 and all of this is very new to me. I couldn't help but to respond to your post because I am waiting to see my Oncologist too, and my appt. is on Nov.4 as well. The pain in my left breast is what prompted the mammogram for me. I have been having a lot of pain even under my arm and radiating own under left breast. Remember to take care of you.
