Optical scanner could allow real-time breast cancer screening

Hope this turns out to be as good as it looks so far! It could save a lot of money, make screening far easier and accurate, eliminate radiation exposure, and improve detection of cancer in dense breast tissue. I often wonder if there's any point getting mammograms, since I have dense breast tissue. And this could be especially beneficial for women who have to get frequent mammograms, who could avoid the cumulative effects of radiation.
