Deciding between surgeon at MSKCC and LIJ northshore

I was recently diagnosed with DCIS. I met with a breast surgeon at LIJ, Dr. Alan Kadison who ordered the biopsies (had two - right diagnosed as DCIS and left- benign). I met with Dr. Alexandra Heerdt at MSKCC today. I really liked Dr Heerdt. I'm wondering how to pick which one to use. Has anyone had experience with Kadison? LIJ is closer to my home and therefore most convenient but the city is not too far as I live in the suburbs. I saw good reviews of Heerdt and she was very kind and knowledgeable. How important is it to be close to home? Both recommended a lumpectomy. TIA!
