Mom starts chemo in Nov - helpful tips needed

Hello my mother has Stage 1 Brest Cancer, Triple negative. She had the lump removed 10/12/15 and will be starting Chemo on 11/19. With chemo approaching soon I'm hoping to get some feed back on what to expect, how can I be more supportive, what I can do help her through the chemo treatment? Of course mother is upset and little nervous about losing her hair and the other side effects that come along with chemo. How will she lose her hair? Does it fall out in stages? Should we just cut it off of before chemo to avoid the process?

Treatments: AC x4 every two weeks, Neulast shot, Taxol x12 every week and 3-4weeks of radiation treatments.
