I was taking off my clothes to shower one day last week and noticed a red hard lump on my breast. It appeared to have some puss in the center so I squeezed it a bit. Nothing came out, but I irritated the spot and the next morning the bump was still there and there was a circular reddish ring around the bump/pimple. I swiped the area with hydrogen peroxide and applied some Neosporin to it with a large band aid. It didn't really hurt that much except for a bit of soreness where the actual bump is. That evening I was going to clean the spot and apply more antibiotic ointment and a band aid. I removed the bandage from the morning and it was so stuck to my skin that I pulled skin off of other areas of my breast! Ouch! Now my breast looks a mess. The older bandage had some yellow discharge on it and a bit of blood. The area must have seeped a bit. The next morning after all this, I noticed the original bump and the reddish ring around it was peeling like it had been sunburned. I still have the bump...it looks less angry and seems like it's might be trying to heal....the skin is shiny and looks like it's pulling together. Should I be worried about this? I have had other pimples on my breasts in the past that took awhile to heal and go away, but this one is worse. I don't know if I think it's worse because I made it worse? I did squeeze it and I think squeezing broke some blood vessels under the sensitive breast skin. Should I wait a few more days and see if this starts getting better day to day? Kind of worried. Thanks.
